Another Paper Bag Album - Birthday Gift

Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room here sharing my project for this month. My heart is very heavy and heartbroken at the loss of our dear friend Sheila. This will be my last project as one of her designers. It has been a pleasure being chosen by Sheila and getting to post what I love doing so that others could see. I will continue to try to post projects as I do them on my blog and I will still visit everyone as much as I can to admire their projects and make comments.

All the paper to cover the pages are from paper stacks called the immortal love from DCWV and La Creme from DCWV. This is the front of the album. I punched holes on the side and added grommets. I tied red, black and white ribbon to each hole. The colors are the recipients favorite colors. I had that flower in my stash, so I added a pearl to the middle of it and adhered it, along with the strip of red ribbon and I also added pearls to that.

The first page, I had these plastic die cuts, so I glued them down. I stamped the sentiment, which is from My Creative Time. I added a rhinestone to the i and added heart stickers from my stash.

The second page I added a tag I die cut and embossed, the tag die is from My Creative Time and the embossing folder is from Stampin' Up. I punched out flowers from black glitter paper with a punch from Stampin' Up and added rhinestones.

The third page I die cut the balloons, which are from My Creative Time and added rhinestones and twine. The cake is a sticker from my stash.

The fourth page, I die cut this awesome shape, the die cut is from My Creative Time. It comes with layers which I layered a pretty scene of trees on the first one and on the second one I stamped a sentiment which is an older stamp from Stampin' Up.

The fifth page, I stamped the sentiment, which is from Stampin' Up, The f is for the recipient's name, it is a chip board letter, I used a red marker to color it and adhered it on top of a strip of DSP which is from Stampin' Up. I added some silver thread, also from Stampin' Up. The bottom sentiment is a sticker from my stash.

The sixth page I stamped all her children's names with Versamark and embossed them with silver embossing powder and my heat gun. The panda stamp was a gift. I added some red stickles to the heart. The hearts and cupcake are stickers that I had in my stash. The bird paper clip is from Stampin' Up.

The seventh page I stamped a wreath which is from My Creative Time and I cut it out using a scallop punch from Stampin' Up. The sentiments and the little flower are stamps, from the same set as the wreath. The flower on the bottom is a die from My Creative Time, I cut it out twice, adhered it together and cut out the middle piece with black glitter paper and adhered it.

This is a gift card holder die from My Creative Time, I embossed it with the same folder from Stampin' Up. I tied a bow with twine and used a glue dot to adhere it to the clip, both are from Stampin' Up. I put a gift card in it for her as another gift.

The eighth page I die cut the frame from My Creative Time, I stamped the first flower and cut out three from a punch from Stampin' Up. I added a red brad to hold them together. On the bottom, I cut a strip of acetate with black flourish design  which I had and stapled it down. I added washi tape from Stampin' Up to hide the staples, then added a glass gem to the middle.

The ninth page I added a strip of white card stock and used the banner punch from Stampin' Up to punch out 4 banners. I glued them to red and white twine and tied a bow. The bottom, I just cut a strip of DSP and adhered it down.

The tenth page I added a doily, some DSP and another banner strip. I used My Creative Time's dies and cut out the crown and the scissors. I figured she would be a Queen for the day and she is a hairdresser. the three embellishments are Jolee's stickers.

The back of the album, I just added a piece of black ribbon to hide the seam of the different DSPs.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Your visits mean a lot. Have a wonderful weekend.

Another Card Party

Hi Everyone,

Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room with my monthly project. Thanks Sheila and I hope you are doing well. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I went to another card party and these are the cards we made. It's fun because a lot of the stamp sets we use, I don't own so it's nice to stamp new things. I haven't had too much time to play in my craft room because I've been busy with appointments and to be honest, it's been too darn hot. I hope you all are doing well and are enjoying each day.

Have a great weekend and Happy Fourth of July to you all.

Birthday Paper Bag Album

Hi Everyone, Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room here, sharing my project for the month of May. Thank you Sheila for having me :) A friend is celebrating her birthday next week on the night of our card party at her house, so I wanted to surprise her with this paper bag album. This is the front of the album. Her favorite color is green so I went with different shades. (I don't know why these pictures don't show the true colors, maybe it's the lighting). I punched holes to hold the album together, added grommets, then tied different ribbons to each one. I had this flower in my stash forever, it is a two part flower with a brad, so I added a doily, some burlap and jute and a fabric flower under it so that it had layers.

I covered all the pages with designer paper from different stacks. The first page I added a pocket, a tag, a butterfly and ribbon on the side. The stamped balloons, candles, cupcakes and die cut butterfly are all from Stampin' Up.

The second page I added a mini paper bag, which I put mini cuttlebug folders in. The butterfly, heart and sentiment is Heidi Swapp stickers. The flowers are from a kit from Stampin' Up that I ran through my crimper and added a brad.

The third page I die cut a tag from My Creative Time, tied bakers twine around it, added a wooden woman, which I bought at Hobby Lobby. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up along with the tag punch that it is stamped on.

The fourth page I added silk flowers from my stash with rhinestones which are from Stampin' Up.  I ran the background, which is also from a Stampin' Up kit through my crimper. The sentiment was cut out from a sheet of designer paper. I made a junk bow from paper and different ribbons and adhered that on.

The fifth page I made a little pocket and added a couple of mini cuttlebug folders.

The sixth page I had a premade tag, I stamped the woman, which is from Close To My Heart. I added a rhinestone to her pony tail and her wrist, the sentiment is from Stampin' Up.

The seventh page I added a premade pocket which has a mini cuttlebug folder in it. The cake is an older stamp from Stampin' Up. I used glitter markers to highlight the candle and the frosting.

The eighth page I added a premade mini paper bag, a crocheted flower, a button with bakers twine tied to it, three mini silk flowers and rhinestones. I stamped that cutie face from Peachy Keen and colored in the eyes and cheeks and added a little stickles to the eyelashes.

The ninth page I had a premade folder, this is it closed.

This is it opened. I used some stickers from my stash for her name. The stamps are from Stampin' Up. I added some stickles to the cupcake.

The tenth page I stamped the month of her birthday just randomly, that stamp is from Paper Trey Ink. I stamped the block sentiments which is from My Creative Time, and some blotches which is from Stampin' Up. I added some jute, then stapled a piece of wire mesh on top. I had that premade tag in my stash, so I adhered that under the mesh.

Finally :) this is the back of the album. I just added a piece of tattered ribbon to cover the seam of the paper.

I tucked these two cuttlebug folders into the pockets of the album.
I can't wait to give it to her. I'm sure she will love it.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Thank you

Hi Everyone,

Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room here sharing another project for this month. I hope you are all doing well. Thank you Sheila for allowing me to share my creations.

So, I went to a friend's demonstration party. The company is called Pink Zebra. It's soy Sprinkles that you put in warmers. They sell warmers and lights and other things. Their products are beautiful and the Sprinkles smell amazing. Check the company out. They also do community things. It's popular down south but fairly new to us here in the South Coast area. I ended up booking a party to help my friend out. So, I wanted to make these darling favors as a thank you for my guests coming. They have little hand sanitizers in them. I purchased them at Walmart. I used my stitched lollipop die from Emma and cut out 20 of them in different colors. (Not that I'm having 20 people :) just to make sure I have enough and extra just in case.

For each color, I punched out scallop circles in the same tones, then punched out white circles. I used dimensionals on both the white circle and the colored scallop. The punches are from Stampin' Up. All the inks used are also from Stampin' Up. I stamped the Thank you also in the same tone colors. The Thank you is also from Stampin' Up.

Isn't that stitched lollipop die adorable? I love it. I haven't made one with a lollipop yet though :)

The last thing I did was add ribbon to each one. Again, they all have ribbons to match.
So, that is my project for you. Thank you so much for looking.

Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone,

I saw this cute birthday card on Chic n Scratch. She added a little banner to the corner with a rhinestone. I didn't add that. I decided to make a few of these cards. Aren't they cute?
The balloons and cupcakes were stamped then punched out and I added dimensionals to them to pop them up. It's hard to see the dimension in these pictures. It's always nice to have cards on hand.

The stamp set I used is called Party Wishes along with the punches Party Punch Pack from Stampin' Up. The card stock is also from Stampin' Up and the Designer paper, which is called Cherry on Top.

I can't wait to start making more cards for different occasions. I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Thanks for stopping by.

Know what I love?

Well hello strangers. I'm so glad to be back. I had to take some time off to move and get settled. I'm still trying to find my mojo though :) LOL Thanks so much to Sheila for allowing me the time off and thank you for letting me come back.

I decided to make a card. I have to start back slow, until I can get my creativity flowing again.

I used the stamp set, What I Love, to create a background, stamping off in most areas to make it lighter, using Baja Breeze ink, then I added a piece of blue card stock as a layer. I stamped the sentiments with black Momento ink.

I stamped the chick from the stamp set Honeycomb Happiness, colored it yellow and the beak and feet orange with markers, cut it out and adhered it to the card. I added a honeycomb embellishment to the belly. I stamped three flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set, punched them out using the matching punch, then used dimensionals to make them stand out, then added rhinestones to the centers.

Well, that is my project for today. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Thanks again Sheila :)
