Lotus Blossom Card - Three Step Stamping

Hi Everyone,

Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room here for my second project of the month. I made a card with the Lotus Blossom stamp set from Stampin' Up. It's such a beautiful flower. Previously I used the same stamp set to create tags. This card was also made for a sketch challenge.

I started off with a white base and used Blackberry Bliss, Lavender Lace and Pink Passion inks from Stampin' Up. The first stamp, you ink up and stamp, the second stamp, you ink up and stamp off once, just on a piece of paper, then stamp on top of the first stamp and the third stamp, you ink up and stamp off twice, then stamp on top of the second stamp. There is a point on each stamp, so it makes it easier to line each flower up. That's using just one color of the ink, you can also use three of the same family color inks from light to dark. I used Pear Pizzazz for the stem. The sentiment was stamped with Blackberry Bliss. Both the stem and sentiment are from the same stamp set.

I tied twine around the base, cut out the border with a border punch also from Stampin' Up, then adhered the base to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" white card. I trimmed the side a little so that the border wouldn't hang off.

I love this stamp set, I think it is so pretty. Thank you Sheila for giving me an extra day :)

Easter Wreath

Hi Everyone,

Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room here to share my monthly project. Finally, the snow is melting and the temperatures are rising :) I decided I wanted to make an Easter wreath for my door. I've been seeing the Geomesh wreaths all over the place. They are gorgeous. I need a little practice with making them though, they are actually pretty easy but you have to manipulate the mesh to make it look nice. I got the ribbon at AC Moore, it is wired but it doesn't seem to be a real good quality but that's ok. I got the wired framed wreath, the Geomesh, the egg pick and the carrot pick at Michael's.

Well that's it for me. I have another day this month, the 31st. Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day :)

Lotus Blossom Tags

Hi Everyone, I hope you are enjoying your weekend and are maybe finding a little time to create. I have been trying to get more productive. :) I decided to make a set of tags. Aren't they pretty? The Lotus Blossom stamp is from Stampin' Up, it's a three step stamp, along with the sentiment. The ribbons, except for the purple one and the rhinestones are also from Stampin' Up. The hemp, I purchased from Lakeside Collections.

I ran my tag, which is from My Creative Time, through my cuttlebug on white card stock from AC Moore, then I ran it through again on Crumb Cake card stock, from Stampin' Up, I cut the white tag in half, then adhered it to the crumb cake tag with glue. I added a ribbon across the middle, stamped the sentiment and added a rhinestone. I added ribbons to the tags and tied a bow around them with white hemp.
