Designer Challenge with Liz Munoz 1,2,3 Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Boy it is frigid here in New England, WOW. Well, it is Winter so it's to be expected. We've been very lucky.

So I joined the challenge over at Emma's. It's a fairly easy one. Liz is the Designer today and she is asking that you make something with 1 Bow, 2 Pattern Papers and 3 Buttons. Sounds easy, right? This is what I came up with. I made this card for my mother.

My Bow is Red Tulle, my 2 Pattern Papers are from the 6 x 6 paper pad called Blush from My Minds Eye and my 3 Buttons are the two pink flower and the pink heart. I used the sentiment and that darling bear from Beary Special Thoughts from My Creative Time. I stamped the sentiment on a leftover piece of pattern paper and cut a tail, I used dimensionals on the sentiment and on the bear. I added stickles to the little heart on the bear and some glossy accents to his eyes and nose. Lastly, I used the rolled flower die, as an embellishment, also from Emma.

I know my mother will love this card, it's just to let her know how much she is loved, even though she already knows :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Join the challenge if you can and don't forget to stop by Emma's to see her and her Design Team's fabulous projects.

LOVE Window Card

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all having a great weekend. I just wanted to post my card again and show how I added a top layer for the letters. I used the same paper as the heart. I wasn't thinking when I cut out the card that I should have cut out the letters to layer on. I think it looks so much better. :)

Thanks for taking the time to stop by. I am working on a few other projects to post.

LOVE Window Card

Hello Everyone,

Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room here for my turn at She's a Sassy Lady. Thank you Sheila for having me :) If you follow Sheila, you know that she creates magic with her Gypsy Girl. Well, I've been learning quite a few things from her. One of my favorites is the window cards. I made one for her challenge and I've decided to make another one for my project today. Practice makes Perfect right? :)

The card is from the Arts Philosophy cartridge. I copied it and welded it. Then I got LOVE from the Don Juan cartridge and welded the letters together, then welded it to the top of the card. The heart is from the Create a Critter cartridge, then welded to the card. I cut out a piece of plastic and used the Hearts embossing folder to emboss it with my Cuttlebug and adhered it to the card with Zip Dry Glue.

This is the card on the Gypsy, all welded. For some reason when I hid the inside of the back of the card so it wouldn't cut out, it kept cutting out, so I deleted it and just added the image without the inside, then had to weld it all over again :( I hope that makes sense.

This is the card cut out. The papers are 6" x 6" from Bo Bunny called Crush Collection.

This is the card with the plastic adhered and before I added the red cardstock. On my Gypsy I copied the image and just made it smaller to fit inside.

This is the inside of the card. The Happy Valentine's Day stamp is called Happiest Moments from My Pink Stamper and the friend heart and love hearts stamps are called I (Heart) Hearts from Stampin' Up. I stamped everything with Black Momento Ink.

Thank you for stopping by. It is very much appreciated. See you soon.

Gypsy Made Simple Snowgirl Window Card

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I am so happy that I had some time to join in with Sheila at She's A Sassy Lady to follow her along and make a window card. Sheila made her window card with Elmo, her card came out beautiful, I love Elmo.  I am thrilled with how mine came out. :) I think it's one of the best cards I've made. Sheila thank you for giving that little push to try new things. It took a little time to get everything placed and welded right but WOW, I was so excited to see the finished product.

This came at a perfect time too because I just finished crocheting a scarf for a friend and this card will go perfect with it.

I used the Art Philosophy cartridge for the base of the card (just like Sheila did). My snowgirl is from the Winter Wonderland cartridge. On her face, the pieces were so tiny, so I used a marker to draw her eyes and gave her rosy cheeks. I used the snow flakes cuttlebug folder for my window. The inside mat is the same cut from Art Philosophy, just smaller to fit. I inked it with light blue ink. The (For You) is from the Don Juan cartridge, I welded the letters together and cut it out with blue glitter cardstock. My patterned paper is from My Minds Eye, a 6" x 6" paper pad called Merry. My sentiment and snowflakes are from My Pink Stamper stamps called Winter Punnies.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, it is very much appreciated.

Thank You

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year everyone, I hope it is off to a good start for you all. Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room here with my project for the month. Thank you Pam for having me.

I have a Boxer named Tyson and all the neighbors love him. One neighbor is so sweet and made homemade dog biscuits for him, so I thought it would be cute to make a Thank You card for her from him. I apologize that the card was already made when posting but it has been a crazy, busy, hectic week. I know we all have those.

The base of the card and the strip is from the Pet Stack from DCWV. The dog is from Create a Critter and cut at 3". I used glossy accents for his ears, eyes and nose. I used jute for a collar and stickled it with light blue. I stamped Thank you with white ink then wrote over it with the same blue stickles. I also added a heart using red stickles. I had this cute ribbon which I added across the strip and tied a bow using hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique then added a heart button from my stash on top.

On the inside left I adhered a paw and bone embellishment. On the right I wrote a Thank you note from Tyson.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a great day.
