MASON'S BOOK

Hi Everyone,

This is Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room. I hope everyone is doing well. I am trying to survive this heat. I know, we are never happy, it's too cold or it's too hot. :)
Well, here I am for another month thanks to our lovely hostess, Sheila. Thank you for having me again.

I had purchased this chipboard album online from a company that sells the letters separately so that you can spell out whatever you want. (so sorry, I forgot the name of the company) I decided to order my son's name. I'm sorry I don't have a picture of what it looked like before. I decorated it with different cardstock and used some embellishments, ribbons and photos. I might add more to it but for now this is what I came up with.

Well, thanks again for stopping by, see you again soon ;)

Throwback Thursday Challenge - 209

Hi Everyone,

I was so happy I had time to do this challenge with Emma from My Creative Time. I love doing challenges but don't always have the time to participate.  Emma asked us to use either the Wild Card cartridge, the Just Because cartridge or any older cartridge. I decided to use the Wild Card cartridge. She also asked that we incorporate either dry or heat embossing somewhere on our project.

I used the cake on page 63 and the flower on page 56. This is great because my Mother's Birthday is coming up, so I made this card for her. ;)

I used my stamp set, Mom You Rock from Emma's line of stamps. I adhered rhinestones and did some doodling dots. The flower is dry embossed with Swiss Dots.

Thanks for stopping by. See you again soon ;)

Baby Onsie Card

Hi Everyone,

I would like to wish everyone a wonderful Fourth of July. I hope you all have a safe, fun, relaxing day. I'm also thinking about all our troops on this day and how THANKFUL I am for their sacrifices to protect our country.

Sorry I have been away from my blog, I have been trying to get caught up with alot of things. I am trying to get quite a few pictures edited so that I can print them out and get to scrapping. :)

Here's a little card that I made for my cousin's baby shower. Her theme was jungle animals, with the elephant as the main focus because her grandmother (who passed) loved elephants and she wanted to do it for her memory. It was such an awesome shower.

I got the onesie from the Wrap it Up cartridge and copied it, flipped one and welded it on my Gypsy to make a card. I cut the neck part out with a circle punch. The elephant is from Create a Critter. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper stamps. I used some stickles on the elephant, did stitching all around the onsie and added little gems to the bottom.

Thanks for stopping by, I'll see you soon ;)
