Embellished Pages of My Paper Bag Album

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for repeated pictures but I wanted to show how I finished embellishing the paper bag album. I didn't want to overload it as it was for a friend and I wanted her to be able to add her own touches to it. This was also a great way to use alot of scraps that I had left over.
On this page, which is the cover, I just added two little flowers to the bottom and put a gem in each center.
The paper clips all came that way, F for Friend, and the yellow and green polka dotted ones and the other clips and ribbon for tabs.

I added stickles to the queen's robe.

Pinocchio reading a book as he's walking, Isn't this so cute?
Also added little gems for the dots on the i's.

A little envelope

This says Dreams Really Do Come True.

I put a Wobble under Tigger, I trimmed it so it wouldn't show, it is so cute.

My friend loved the album ;)

Paper Bag Album

Hi Everyone,

Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room coming to you today with my design. I had a hard time deciding what to present this month and then all of a sudden, it popped into my head to make a paper bag album, something that I love to make and I haven't made one in so long. I just got the Disney Classics cartridge at All Things Cricut, (their prices are awesome), so I decided to make this album for a friend. If anyone has this cartridge, you'll know what I mean and if you don't have it yet, let me just say that the images on it are so cute and they remind me of my childhood when I use to watch all these Disney Classics. Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio, (love Jimminey Cricket), Bambi, you get the idea. I even watched them with my son when he was little. The only thing is, the pieces are all cut separate :( so it's a lot of work to adhere them, well some might think this is therapeutic or relaxing :) I am really not to happy about this, I wish I would have known this cartridge was like this before I linked it to my Gypsy :( Anyway, I am going to embellish it a little more, then my friend can embellish it the way she wants to. So, here is how I made my paper bag album:

First I got 5 paper bags, put them in opposite directions, as you can see by this picture. Then I folded them together, used my Crop a Dile to punch holes on the side. I used different twine and ribbon to tie in each hole. Then I covered each page with different cardstocks and patterned paper, I used some embellishments on some of the pages. Alice in Wonderland is on the cover with a dragonfly brad.

I put the queen of hearts on this page.

I added Tinkerbell to this page

Thanks for stopping by. See you again soon. Thanks Sheila for having me again ;)

Throwback Thursday Challenge

Hi Everyone,

I created this card for the Throwback Thursday Challenge with Emma at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ You just have to use any older cartridge of your choice, as long as it is a St. Patrick's Day theme and you can make any project you want to. I decided to make a card.

I used Paper Doll Dress Up for the shamrock and the pots of gold. I used gold stickles to highlight the gold in the pot, I printed out the sentiment from the computer, the font is Minya Nouvelle, I used a punch from Stampin Up to punch it out, I punched out the same shape in green to give it a shadow. I tied twine around the card and used a green button for the center. The petals on the shamrock are curled up. I used dimensionals for the shamrock and the pots of gold. The base of the card is Kraft from Paper Trey Ink, the green cardstock is from a pack that I had ordered online quite a while ago.

Go check out Emma's card along with all her designers, they all did marvelous work. Thanks for stopping by to visit. See you soon.
