Mouse of Hearts

Hi Everyone,

I made this darling card with a free digi stamp from Thank you Di and all who contribute.
I am sending it to Mary from Cardz TV so that maybe she will show it on Coffee and Cards. She does alot of digi stamped images and they are so cute. She is a tutorial artist for Digital Delights, they have really cute digi stamps and they are very reasonable. I just happened to come across this free one and thought it was so cute. I wanted to try something different. I am just starting my Copic marker collection, so most of the coloring was done with my Stampin Up markers. I did color the mouse with the C1 gray Copic marker.
I put the hearts through the Xyron machine to get an all over coverage so that I could flock them. They came out so cute, nice and soft. The heart paper is from my stash. The ribbon is from Close to My Heart, it says, Cherish, Forever, Love. I love this font that Mary uses called Minya Nouvelle, so I typed that sentiment and printed it out on white cardstock and inked it with red. I did some stitching along the card with my white gel pen. I used some Dazzling Diamond glitter which is from Stampin Up on two of the hearts in the basket.

Isn't he so cute the way he has his arms around the basket, delivering it full of love. Thanks for stopping by. See you soon :)

She's a Sassy Lady Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Happy Sunday, I hope you all are enjoying your weekend. Every Saturday, Sheila from She's a Sassy Lady does a Gypsy made simple episode. I decided to join in on this one. It is making a Gate fold card. I have made them before but not using my Gypsy so I thought this would be fun. It was fun and Sheila makes it so easy to follow along. Because of all the snow we've been having, I don't know about you all that are getting it also but, I am so ready for Spring, to see all the flowers in bloom, hey I know they have to sleep too but I am tired of shoveling. :) Anyway, I decided to make my Gate fold card a flower.

I love the paper patterns, it's the Ooh La La double sided paper stack from My Mind's Eye, I added a self adhesive glittered flower center. Thanks for stopping by, check out Sheila's tutorial and make one, it's really easy. Thanks Sheila for another great tutorial. See you soon :)

Thursday Throwback Challenge #: 157

Hi Everyone, I hope you all are having a marvelous weekend.

This is my project for My Creative Time with Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge.
We have until Wednesday, February 2nd. to submit a project using either the Paper Doll Dress Up, Everyday Paper Doll cartridge or
an older cartridge of your choice if you don't have those. You have to include either heat or dry embossing on it.

Isn't my card so cute? ;) I used the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I used the angel so that I could use my new stamp set from My Creative Time. Love them Emma ;) This set is called Mom You Rock. I stamped the sentiment, then punched it out with a circle punch and used dimensionals to pop it up. Everything is cut out at 3 1/2", I used the blackout feature so that I could stamp a face on her using the Everyday Character PK-490 stamps from Peachy Keen. I cut the wings and the halo out with vellum and put some Dazzling Diamonds on them. I used silver stickles for the star.
I used the Swiss Dots and the Seeing Spots embossing folders. I was soooooooooo excited to use my new Wobbles. I put one on the angel. I love them, they are so awesome.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Love x 4

Hi Guys,

Today I am Guest Designer for She's a Sassy Lady. Being that Valentines Day is not to far away, I decided to make a simple heart card.
I cut a piece of Rustic white cardstock from Paper Trey Ink 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".  I used the heart block cuttlebug folder and cuttlebugged the card. I cut out 4 hearts sizes, 3 3/4", 3", 2 1/4" and 1". I used the atg gun to adhere the first heart down, then I folded each heart together, put a strip of red tape down each center, and layered them onto each other.

I used Pink wire and made the word Love along with a small heart and used Zip Dry Glue to adhere them. I then added a couple of skittles and stitching.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by for a visit, and as always, Thank you Sheila for having me. See you soon.

My First Joy Fold Card

Hi Everyone,

Well, it snowed here again last night but thank goodness we didn't get alot. It was nice and fluffy so we were able to just push it with the shovel, didn't need the snowblower today ;)

I was watching Cardz TV with Mary and let me tell you, she has some awesome videos. I love the Joy fold card, and decided to make one. It is so easy to put together and Mary does such a great job with her tutorial. I love the look of this card and I'm thinking of all the different ways I can make it.

I used the PK-267 Happy Bird and phrases from Peachy Keen stamps, Martha Stewart glitter markers to color in the bird. It's sort of sparkly although it doesn't show in the picture. It looks so much cuter in person. The sentiment is from the Tweetie Hoo Puns stamp set from My Pink Stamper, the hearts were cut out from the Doodlecharm cartridge and I used twine and adhered the hearts to it with glue dots. I also used the Heart Blocks cuttlebug folder.

Check out Mary's video on her blog at for all the measurements and how to make it. Thanks for looking. See you soon.

Throwback Thursday Challenge with Emma

Hi My Friends :)

I am so excited that I had time to do this challenge. I absolutely love My Creative Time with Emma and I've missed doing these challenges. The challenge is "Viewers Choice", just as long as the project has a heart somewhere on it. So, I decided to make this darling card which I love. I think it came out adorable. I used the Disney Pooh and Friends cartridge. I welded a sign and the heart from George and Basic Shapes to Winnie the Pooh's hands to make him look like he is holding them. I also welded the I <3 You in the sign, also from George and Basic Shapes. Now, as you can see, I ended up making him a her (LOL :)) because, I used a Peachy Keen face stamp and it didn't look right because his face is angeled so I just cut off that part. I think it came out pretty darn good, if I don't say so myself.

I used red stickles for the hearts and a little on her shirt, I put frosty stickle beads around her neck for a necklace, I used red twine for around the card and a bow for her head, I adhered a silk flower and a skittle. I put dimensions on her to make her pop. I did a little faux stitching around the card with a white gel pen. The sentiment  is from a My Pink Stampers stamp set. I used Black Memento ink to stamp it. The base of the card is Kraft from Paper Trey Ink, the pattern paper is from my stash.

Isn't she so darling? Thanks for stopping by, see you soon :)

My Pink Stamper Design Team 2011 - Challenge & Submission

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, I know I sure did. So, Robyn at My Pink Stamper has two spots left for a six month term as a Design Team Member. I am so very happy doing what I am doing now but, decided why not give it a try.

The challenge is to create a scrapbook page, card, or other Cricut project with your favorite cartridge using Robyn's favorite colors, Pink, Green and Brown and an optional color of our choice. I created this cute card using the Create a Critter cartridge, which is one of my favorite cartridges.

My Recipe is:
Create a Critter cartridge
Base of Card - Green  - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (A2 card - 5 1/2" x 4 1/4")
Pink Cardstock Mat - 5 1/4" x 4"
Brown Cardstock Mat from George and Basic Shapes - 5 1/4" x 3 1/2"
Paw Ribbon
Pink and Green Twine from The
White Gel Pen from Stampin Up
Critter Faces - PK-754 from Peachy Keen Stamps
Sentiments from More Punnylicious from My Pink Stamper Stamps
Used pop dots for the cat and dog, doodled around the brown mat and inked the edges of the card.

I had to stamp the cat's face with white pigment ink which is so much different than the Kraft inks.

Thanks for stopping by.

Robyn, thanks for the opportunity.
