Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I know I did. I love this time of year when you get to spend time with family and friends and I love to give. I made these cards to give out to some friends and a family member. I am ashamed to say that I did not send out cards this year :( That's not like me because I send cards out every year, but this year, I just had so much going on and not enough time. The wishes were still there though. :)

I made these cute snowmen cards using one of my favorite snowman stamp from Stampin Up. I used black stickles for the hats and buttons, the blue ribbon is from Paper Trey Ink, the red and white twine is from the Twinery. The brown twine is from Michaels. I colored the scarfs with Stampin Up markers, the card base is Kraft from Paper Trey Ink, the pattern papers are from a Cloud 9 Design paper pack. I punched out the shape for the sentiments with a Stampin Up punch, the sentiments are from My Pink Stamper. I also used Snow Writer from Peachy Keen stamps on the snowmen. So cute.

The duck card was made from the PK-266 Duck Dolls stamp set from Peachy Keen stamps, the card base is a white cardstock from Stampin Up, the presents and tags were cut out with the Doodlecharm cartridge. I used the Martha Stewart icicle punch for a border, the duck's hat was cut out from the Winter Woodland cartridge, I hand wrote the sentiments on this card. I also used the Snow Writer on the icicles and frosty stickles on the bows and presents.

Thanks for stopping by.

For A Frog Lover

I made this card for a friends daughter who loves frogs. I used the Happy Lil' Frog Cottage Cutz from Peachy Keen Stamps, Kraft color cardstock from Paper Trey Ink, pattern paper from DCWV which I punched a border on the bottom and some ribbon. The sentiment is from a My Pink Stamper stamp set called More Punnylicious.

Sorry that the picture is blurry, didn't notice until after it was posted. Just might have to fix that. ;)

I used a white gel pen to highlight the eyes, a black marker for the spots and some ink for the belly and inked the whole frogs to tone them down. Aren't they just so cute?

Thanks for stopping by. I love visits.  ;)

A Cute Gift Package

Hi Everyone,

Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room here, I had so much fun making those sour cream containers and tags. I am going to a Christmas party and we are exchanging ornaments, so I decided that a bigger sour cream container would be perfect to hold the ornament I am bringing which is a snowflake picture frame, oops, I didn't take a picture of it before I put it in the container, sorry about that. This one started off at 8" x 10".

Isn't this a great way to present a gift? (No pun intended, LOL) Thanks for visiting. I appreciate all your compliments.

I have a really cute card that I made for a friends daughter who loves frogs. It will be posted here tomorrow. :) So come back and visit. Thank you everyone.

Sour Cream Containers with a Surprise Inside

Hi Everyone it's Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room. It's my turn today to show you what I created for this month. I can't believe Christmas is almost here. I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season. So, I've been seeing these containers and thought they were so cute and they are very easy to make. I started out using the Very Merry Tag cartridge to make tags. I cut each image out twice, once in cardstock and once in cardboard from a yogurt box.

Here are the tags all put together.

Now came the fun part, I cut out all the tags in red and white and although I could have cut them in different patterned or colored papers, I thought it would be fun to decorate them instead, so let me tell you how I did that. The top row of tags, the warm wishes tag I inked with yellow and doodled stitches around with a black marker, the noel tag I sprayed with Jazz Blue glimmer mist, the gingerbread boy I inked with brown and added Cinnamon stickles for the buttons, the gift tag I sprayed with Key Lime Pie glimmer mist, the mitten tag I painted with red smooch and added lime green stickles along the cuffs, on the bottom row, I just inked the warm wishes tag with brown and added white doodle dots with a white gel pen, the noel tag I used gold stickles all around, on the gingerbread boy I inked the whole image with Dune color ink and added Cinnamon stickles for the buttons, the gift tag was just inked with brown and the mitten tag was sprayed with Graphite glimmer mist and I used silver stickles on the mittens. WHEW :) sorry about the long description, they were so much fun to decorate.
Now these cute little containers started off at 6" x 4". I used my ATG gun and put a strip along each long side (6" side) and a strip along one of the short sides (4" side), then I pressed one edge together and ran the edge through a crimper and just went back and forth a couple of times. I cuttlebugged the green cardstock with the snowflake folder.

Then I added 4 cinnamon candies to each one.

Then I folded the other end the opposite way and crimped that edge.
Then I punched holes in each container and used thin white ribbon to tie on all the tags. Aren't they so cute?
Well, I hoped you enjoyed my project. Thanks again to Sheila for having me.

Sweet Gingerbread Boy and Girl

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Happy December 1st. WOW already. Time goes by so quickly. So, hello everyone. I wanted to show you two cutie pattootie cards I made for my Mom and Dad for Christmas. I used one of the new sets from Peachy Keen called Lorie and Al Gingerbread Set - PK-416. I love this set, I think it is so adorable.
I used Stampin Up markers to color the images in and then I cut them out. I stamped the other images and also colored them in. I used some twine and a button. I used glossy accents to the icing to make it look like chocolate. YUMMY ;) I added some stickles, inked the edges and stamped the sentiments using the Christmas Wishes stamp set from My Pink Stamper. Lastly, I used a punch on the corners of each card.

Aren't they so cute?
See you soon.
