Storing My Stamps

Happy Monday Friends. I noticed that a few people have been wondering how everyone stores their stamps. I myself have gotten ideas from other people. I love this method of storing them in cd cases because I have so much more room. I even took all my Stampin Up stamps off the wooden blocks and made them just like the clear stamps with the help of the EZ Mount Stamp product. Love It.

I stamped the images so that I could easily see what the stamps are. I didn't do that to the Peachy Keen stamps because I can see the faces. Hope this helps anyone who is interested in making changes to the way they store their stamps.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

My Sweet One

Happy Sunday Everyone :) It's a rainy day here, a good day to stay in and play. I don't know where the weekends go, especially when you work all week and try to squeeze in alot of stuff to do in two days off. I shouldn't complain because I'm thankful I have a job, and I have the weekends off. Actually, I am looking for a part-time job, just a few hours a week for some extra money. Hehehhehehehe, got to support this crafting habit of mine :)

Anyway, I ordered My Pink Stamper's DVD and in it was a card kit. (Thank you Robyn ;) All but the ribbon and the stamp was in the package, so this is how I put it together. The stamp is from My Pink Stamper's Simply Sweet Occasions, I used some stickles to bling it up. Have a great day my sweet friends ;)

Love Always

Hi My Friends,

I made this card to send to my Aunt who loves penguins. I wanted her to know that I am thinking of her because with work and everything I do at home, I don't get to visit as often as I would like to.
I used Kraft cardstock from Paper Trey Ink for the base of the card, which is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". I used the Create a Critter cartridge for the penguin and the igloo, I used a pink brad to attach the pink flower to the white flower. The flower on the head is a little prima, I glued an orange gem to the center. I stickled the beak and feet with orange, added a white ribbon and used a black marker from Stampin Up and a white gel pen for doodling. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper stamps.

As always, thanks for looking. Have a great day :)

Throwback Thursday with Emma

Hi Everyone,

I was so excited that I had time to join in this challenge. I love this cartridge and was glad I have it.
Paper Doll Dress Up and you had to make a frame. I used the ghost and cut a circle, an image and the word BOO which I welded from George and Basic Shapes. I embossed the background paper which is Orange Zest from Paper Trey Ink with the spider web folder. I used my ATG gun and adhered it to the black card which is an A2 size. I tied a bow with jute and stickled BOO with silver, then I added a little spider from Jolee's and some white dots with a gel pen. I used the Everyday Character PK-490 for the face.

Thanks for looking :)

Cute and Sassy

Hi Everyone. This is Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room, it is my turn today to share my project with you.
This was my first time decorating a paint can. I have been wanting to do one for a long time, and thought what better way than to showcase it here :)

First I started out with this paint can that I purchased at Michael's.

I took the handle off, then cut blue paper to cover the paint can, I pressed the paper over the circle parts to make indentations, then punched circles out to go over them. I used a foam brush and painted the can with Modge Podge (white glue) to make it easier to put the paper around it.

Then I used the Forever Young cartridge and cut out 5 models at 5", and dressed them up.

Then to give them some bling, I used a button with twine on the first model, a white flower with a green skittle on the second, cranberry beads on the third, a blue gem and a white gem with silver stickles for the necklace on the fourth, and on the fifth model, I used gold stickles for the jewelry and the dress. I also used glossy accents on their shoes.

I tied fibers and ribbons to the handle, that took a little time. :)

I used zip dry glue on all the models except for the last one, I used pop dots.

I used the Xyron for the ribbon to put around the top and bottom.

Here are closer pictures of all the models on the can.

For the top of the can I decided to add a flower, it started off as pink, but you know that a little paint does wonders, so I painted it blue, added a black brad and used glue dots to stick it on the top.

So there you have it, my first decorated paint can. Thank you all for looking and of course a Big Thank You to Sheila. :)

Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge 35

Hi Everyone, hope you are all doing well.

Peachy Keen is having another Challenge and this is my second with them. It is not only a sketch but also a color challenge.

And here is my take on this. I used the Leaf from Doodlecharms and stamped the cute little face from Christmas Character PK-480. I used buttons that I got from Paper Trey Ink. I think the papers are from AC Moore. I used a white gel pen for a little doodling and stickled the nose with Frosted Lace.
I took this picture outside, wow what a difference natural light makes. Thanks for looking :)

Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone,

My niece's birthday is next week, so I decided to make her a card and mail it to her. She loves dogs and cats, so I used the Create a Critter cartridge of course :) I used a Martha Stewart border punch, some ribbon and inked the pets. I didn't use a stamp because the patterned paper says it all. I wrote in the card though. I know she'll love it :) I'm excited for my turn with She's a Sassy Lady, August 19th. I'm working on something different :) Stay tuned.

Baby Shower Card

Isn't this the cutest card :) I made it for a family member who just had a baby girl.

I used the onesie from Cricut Sampler, I copied it and flipped it to make a card. The stork and baby are also from Cricut Sampler. I first cut it out on white cardstock (Stampin Up), to make it sturdy, then cut it again on patterned paper, not sure from what company, that's what happens when you separate your paper. I ran the pink ribbon through my Xyron, then cut it to add it around the arms and bottom of the clothing on both the front and back. I colored in the baby and the storks beak and feet with Stampin Up markers. I put white stickles on the stork's wings and tied a bow out of pink embroidery floss, then added little dashes and dots to dress the hat and blanket up. The blanket was a polka dot patterned paper already. I stamped the face of the baby with a Peachy Keen stamp and added white to the eyes with the gel pen.

So Sweet, I think.

Hi Everyone

I made these cards to send to a special boy and girl. They were just simple cuts.

Then I made this card for a friend who just had knee replacement surgery. She is home and is doing really well. She loves country primitive. I don't have cartridges for that, so I looked online, found this picture, printed it out, then I cut it out. I wanted to try flock on the crow, I got some at Michaels, 4 in a pack for $1.00. It is not the "real" flock but I figured I would give it a try. I don't think it came out to bad. I outlined the crow with black stickles and put red stickles on the berries, added a google eye and sprayed the card with some gold shimmer mist, then added a velvet ribbon.

As always, thank you for visiting :)

Shopping at Michaels

Hi Everyone,

I went to Michaels to pick up a few things and look what I found for $2.99. It's a t-shirt. I love it. Guess what? They had two Pink ATG guns. I didn't get one though, I'm happy with my red one. I fell in love with the pink ribbon xyron sticker maker though, it is so cute, but again, I didn't buy it, I have the original orange one and the bigger one and I am happy with them. :)

This is the front of the shirt.

This is on the bottom corner.

Peachy Keen Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Peachy Keen Stamps is having a challenge using a sketch, so I decided to join in. This is my first challenge with them. I used the Christmas Character PK-480 face stamp, I colored in the nose and mouth with Stampin Up markers and added white to the dots in the eyes with a white gel pen, the Martha Stewart icicle punch, the Frosty stamp is from Close to my heart and I also used some silver stickles on the icicles and some white dots around the snowman's face.

Enjoy.

Thanks for looking :)
