Spring Box

It's Monday already. Wow :) I was playing around on my Gypsy and made this cute box with cut out flower windows. I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. I'm just thinking of Spring because the flowers in my garden are coming up. The crocuses of course are always the first to show themselves, and my tulips are peaking through. I decided last year that I would try to plant perrenials as much as I could so that they would come back every year. It's so exciting to see nature at work.

Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday everyone. I've been busy doing housework, but, I set aside a few minutes to do a couple of cards to post. It's not easy keeping up with this blog, but, I'm trying :) It's been a great weekend. The weather is gorgeous, I was out in my yard yesterday sweeping up and cleaning up my garden beds a little to get ready for Spring. WHEW, that's a lot of work. We live on a corner so my husband and I are constantly out there picking up. Everything blows downward, so needless to say, it all ends up at our end. Well, here's wishing everyone a wonderful rest of the day. Enjoy and have a great week. I'll be working on some more things to post. Thanks for looking. :)

The backgrounds of the cards were already white embossed images, I inked them. The first card was made using Forever Young for the Ladies and Don Juan for friends, I used stickles, some ribbon and a border punch. The second card was made using A Walk in My Garden, and thanks was stamped with My Pink Stamper stamps, Simply Sweet Occasions. The whole stamp says heartfelt thanks, but seeing that I only needed thanks, I just put the stamp on my acrylic block and because the stamps are such great quality, I just bent it around the block so I only had to ink the word thanks.

My Son

This is a plain page but I loved how my son was between the rocks at Roger Williams Park and Zoo. Wow, to think he will be graduating from high school next year.
I searched for a saying that would fit this page and I found one that I loved.

Build me a son, whose heart will be clear, whose goals will be high, a son who will master himself before he seeks to master other men, one who will learn to laugh, yet never forget to weep, one who will reach into the future, yet never forget the past.

Hi My Friends

Happy Monday. What beautiful weather we've been having here in New England. Where do the weekends go? They just go by way to fast. There is so much to do but not enough time in the day to do everything. My idea is to create some cards and scrapbook pages that I can post daily to keep my blog interesting. I am in awe of the creations that some of these ladies and gentlemen come up with, especially the creations on the gypsy. I'll have to sit someday and practice to see what I can come up with. I had made this ATC card for a swap I was in....Pumpkins. Thanks for looking.
